It has been possible to work remotely in some places for a long time now. Others are following but still not possible for everyone.
It seems that the work is changing anyway. It has been predicted that people get assignments from many companies and work remotely.
Seems weird that you need to go to work and home in a traffic jam when you could work elsewhere and the work does not require you to be in the office for you to do it.
Remote work makes life so much easier
Especially if you have a dog or a pet in general.
Taking care of a puppy when you work from the office is quite hard.
I remember when Ella was a puppy in 2004 and she needed to be fed three (3) times a day. She got breakfast in the morning. Then during my lunch hour, I rushed home and fed her and rushed back to the office. There was not really time for me to eat at all. Then in the evening after coming home a walk with the dogs and their feeding. It was a busy time.
The remote day with a dog
When you work remotely, you can schedule your day better and spend time with your dogs instead of being stuck in the traffic. Also stress levels are lower when you can for example work remotely in the morning and go to the office a bit later after the traffic jam.
When Eddie & Alfie were puppies in 2007, life was so much easier when remote work was possible.
In the morning we woke up and had breakfast, all of us. Then during my morning coffee, I opened my laptop and started working.
At lunchtime, I had time to feed the dogs and myself and also at some point take them to walk too. During the winter time when it gets dark already by 3 PM you really enjoyed the possibility to take the dogs for a walk during the daylight.
Then back to tasks which I could perform much better at home without someone stopping by to talk nor suffering from the background noise in the office.
Then after the workday, I could take the dogs for a walk again and had plenty of time to do other things too.
So much less stress when you can organize your life and work together rather than spending time in the traffic jam and in the noisy office.
The dogs are also much happier when you are around.
