We have been quite lucky here with not too many ticks.
It has now changed.
I need to take out one or more ticks every day from the cats. Earlier it was just time to time but never like this, daily.
The dogs are much better thanks to the big pond I have in my plot. They swim after their walk/run in the forest. The ticks will drown. It has always worked and so does it now, but there are still some ticks in the neck and the head area where the water have not reached.
So now I have tick collars for the whole gang.
Scalibor for the dogs. I have used them for my dogs earlier without any problems, so I wanted to use it again.
Seresto was the only collar option for the cats (in the shop), so I ordered those. Hopefully, they get use to having a collar.
I do hope this will help us fight the ticks that have found our paradise. Fingers crossed.
Here is a photo of the fitting of the collars. Need to adjust the length.
