Minnie had Cibau Sensitive Fish food for about two months. It is a product that has had good reviews.
At first, it looked quite promising, just like with Lamb& Rice dry food. Towards the end, the problem came back with an additional ear infection.
Now Minnie has been back on raw food for a week, but only on lamb meat and lamb fat. Also, the chicken will be added to her diet later.
Last year she also got Sporanox 100mg for her ear and it helped for a long time. She will now get that. We just visited the vet today when Minnie renewed her vaccinations. The vet supported my suggestion.
Did changing the food help?
Not really. In my opinion, the experience does not support enough the reason to switch from raw to dry food for good.
I pretty much believe that the mind causes diseases. Stress is said to cause about 98% of the health problems. If you deny your feelings and do not process them, they will go to some parts of your body to cause physical symptoms.
Alfie died last year, which was devastating to me and I think Minnie sensed it. Just over a month later, her inner ear had to be removed. I believe that Minnie sensed my stress (sadness) and reacted to it by stress that led her ear to get in very bad condition.
I always knew beforehand when Alfie gets an ear infection. The external factors triggered it: even a slight disagreement with my other dog Eddie. A week or two after that he had an ear infection. Always.
So what is the reason behind Minnie’s stress? Maybe she sensed my stress and reacted. Again.
